This policy describes how Chinese In Flow (the website at chineseinflow.com and the Android app) handles information. Owen Dwyer operates this site and app.
The Chinese In Flow Android app (Google Play) stores your study progress and settings in a local database on your device. The app does not request network access and does not transmit your progress or personal information to us or third parties.
If you tap Rate this app, your device opens the Google Play Store in a separate app — that is handled by Google, not by Chinese In Flow.
Android may back up app data to your Google account if you have device backup enabled. That backup is managed by Google under your account settings.
When you play the game on this website, the browser loads game assets from our hosting provider (Netlify). Standard web server logs may include your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. We do not use those logs to identify individual users.
The web game sends anonymous usage events to our metrics service (gtlemetrics.co.uk). These events help us understand whether the game loads correctly and how it is used. Typical events include page load, page close, and load failures.
